TrelloPro

Privacy Policy

TrelloPro collects almost nothing about you. There are no accounts, no comments and no newsletter signup here, so the site never asks for your name or email address. What it does record is aggregate traffic data: which pages are read and where visitors come from.

What the site records when you read a page

The site runs on Ghost and uses its built-in web analytics to count page views. Ghost describes these analytics as first-party and says they don't use cookies or any other persistent browser storage to recognise visitors; unique visitors are counted within 24-hour windows, so a reader who returns a few days later is counted again. The reports show totals such as page views, referring sites and visitor countries. For sites hosted on Ghost(Pro), Ghost stores this analytics data in EU regions.

Serving any web page also involves technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. The site is hosted on Ghost(Pro), run by the Ghost Foundation, which processes that data to deliver pages on the site's behalf under its data processing agreement. Ghost's own handling of data is set out in the Ghost privacy policy.

Cookies

Reading the guides sets no cookies. Ghost's admin cookies apply only to the people who sign in to edit the site.

Search and images

The search box uses Ghost's search script, which your browser downloads from the jsDelivr content delivery network. That request reaches jsDelivr with the usual connection data, including your IP address; the jsDelivr privacy policy covers what it keeps. Search then looks up matching guides through this site's own Ghost content service. Images in the guides load from Ghost's file storage.

Many guides link to Atlassian's Trello support documentation and other sources. Ghost adds a ref parameter naming this site to most of those links so the other site can see where the visit came from; the parameter names this site, not you. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Your data

Because the site holds no account, contact or comment data about readers, there is no personal profile to look up, correct or delete. The analytics reports show totals, not individual readers. If the site ever starts collecting anything new, such as newsletter addresses, this page will change before that feature goes live.
